He's calm and gentle with people. On walks he ignores passers-by and carries on, and when someone new visits he's curious for a few minutes, then settles back down.
He loves his toy basket and a good sprawl on the floor. Around other dogs he's mostly fine, but sometimes barks and pulls on the lead, so he'll need an owner who can work on that with him.
Kyro needs someone with time, patience and a budget for vet care over the next few months.
Health and care
Kyro has a problem with his left front paw. Here's what you should know before you fall for him.
He injured the nerves in that leg as a puppy. Since then, two toes on the paw have been removed after a fracture that went untreated and some stubborn infections.
Because of the way he puts weight on the foot, a wound there keeps reopening, so it needs cleaning and a fresh dressing every day or two. We're arranging for him to see an orthopaedic specialist about the best way to help it heal.
